Favorite TV Shows..

Wow.. I have to pick just a few?? I will first tell you that I don’t watch THAT much TV. So when I do, the show has got to be great!

Wife Swap (my guilty pleasure in reality TV!)

Okay, so I said that the show has got to be great… The first four really are AWESOME shows. Wife Swap… I find it incredibly hilarious, and in some situations extremely disturbing.. I can’t say I gain a lot intellectually from them, but I do gain an entertainment value from it. I guess it just comes down to this. I’m glad someone else has the guts to put their lives on TV…. Glad it’s them and not me! Haha!

Day 10: Something I am afraid of….

I could put my superficial fears as what I discuss. I.e. spiders, snakes, bridges, falling..etc… But I think the one fear that I want to talk about is my fear that I am going to gain all of the weight that I’ve lost…. Back.. I am afraid that I am going to screw something up somewhere along the lines, and I will be that large person again. Yes, I am more active now than I ever have been. No, I can’t eat the things I used to eat prior to the surgery. Yes, I am fully aware that I will have days that I will struggle. I think today may just be one of those days. I just don’t want to be big again. Not that I hated myself for it, but, I LOVE being able to run with my nieces and play, and get into a Kayak with The Guy, and sit in a booth, and pull my knees up to my chin without forcing it, I love being able to shop for clothes in non plus sized stores.

I just have this one fear that I am going to screw something up. Maybe by verbalizing it here, it is an accountability thing. I WON’T go backwards. I WON’T be THAT heavy again, I WILL keep everything in check!

I hope….

Day 8: A place I've travelled

I jumped ahead of the schedule for 8 and 9! Sorry about that!

I’ve been to Hawaii… Maui, Honolulu, flown over active volcanos… I’ve been all the way up to the East Coast up to Nova Scotia, I’ve traveled to San Francisco, as far down as the Bahamas… I’ve toured the Twin Towers when they were still standing, as well as the Empire State Building.

But I really only have Maui Pictures that are worth posting…. Beautiful doesn’t accurately describe this state! Pictures do not even do it justice! When you get to see the sun rise over a beautiful volcano (Haleakala) something fills your soul with peace. BEAUTIFUL! MAGICAL! AMAZING!

Day 9: Favorite Picture of you and your Best Friend

I can’t just choose one picture, or one best friend, because in all honesty, I have quite a few best friends. However, when it all comes down to it…. My family is my best friend. They know me through and through, and I couldn’t ask for a better support system for better listeners, advice givers, huggers, comforters, and unconditional love. I am beyond blessed to have such an amazing family.

Day 7: Favorite Movies

Favorite Movies….

One of my favorite topics. I have a hard time with this one. Haha! I will only list my top 5, because… well, because I LOVE CLASSIC movies!!

Like I said… there are WAY more than that… but these are the movies that I can watch over and over again. I love them. I love Chick Flicks, and I love a good action movie. I like heartfelt movies. I LOVE the classics though!! Shirley Temple movies and the old Disney movies are the movies that I grew up watching and loving.

So those are my movies!

Day 6: A picture of something that makes you happy!

My nieces are the two greatest joys in my life, and they make me happy beyond words. I am so proud to be their aunt, and I LOVE watching them grow! I don’t share their faces on the web that much, so I had to draw their nicknames… My LadyBug and My BeeBug! :-) They have me wrapped around their tiny fingers, and I don’t mind one bit!! I love my “Bugs”!!!!
